    Santa Cruz Heckler SL

Apparently the first 2 were Gen 1 motors and now I have a Gen 2. I assumed the bike came with a Gen 1 as it was probably stuck a a ship somewhere but was hoping the first replacement was a Gen 2.....but nope lol.

Lots of Rough miles and Hands "aching"

Imagine you go for a long hike (all day) or you just get a super good workout (however) and your body aches. Its mostly in my fingers, not palms and not numbness. The bike weight 45 lbs with pedals and contis so it's a lot of weight to move around underneath me. We've been doing a ton of...

    Santa Cruz Heckler SL

I've sene people asking about the new Heckler SLs so I figured I'd post some info. Wife and I picked up ours October 30th, 2023. We had demoed the Transition Relay 29 vs MX in Bellingham and really liked the MX. We were not sold on the removable battery and my wife hated the colors of course...

Lots of Rough miles and Hands "aching"

Hey everyone. Wife and I got SC Heckler SLs 6 months ago and we have right at 1,000 miles on them (each). The Heckler SL in Medium has about 10mm more reach than my old Patrol. The bike feels MUCH bigger though than 10mm. Right away my hands were going numb from the weight forward. I rotated...
