Servus zurück aus der Hauptstadt.
Yesterday, I wrote to Yishun and 4Leaf, no reply so far from the latter, but Yishun sent out an automated reply, that they are only looking for bulk orders of 50+units, so I assume I won't hear back again from them anytime soon. :(
I asked 4Leaf if their...
Have there been any new developments regarding this? I wrote to Linda again, about their upcoming gravel frame, but didn't get a reply.
Still looking for a nice, no frills M820 gravel frame, alloy would be fine.
Thanks for collecting the different options in this thread.
Is there a way to use a reach adjust, or angle head sets, on frames that use these ICR headsets?
I am about to finally pull the trigger on a E56, but then I noticed that tiny detail about it...
Maybe they will, but at this point, the Pinion MGU has proven, that a company can built precisely what many were waiting for since many years. It has plenty power, for an EU legal bike, and weighs only 4kg. With the drive train savings, that is maybe .5kg heavier, than the current motors without...
Would you mind telling us about your winter changes to your two bikes?
So you overstroked the frame to 162.5mm of travel (65mm*2.5?), without any other adjustments like offset bushings?

So with those "special" headsets, there is no way to use a...
Thanks for the reply, I assumed to get a reply like that. Some 29ers go as low 330-340mm, so I assume I could go quite a bit lower than those 365mm, especially with the shorter cranks.
Yes, I know the bike will sag under load, but AFAIK, all the BB measurements are made with an unloaded bike, to...
The concept looks interesting, but how does make one this make cosmetically appealing and safe against water ingress? I would prefer to not use Gaffa-tape.
Could you also do a custom cut adaptor plate, that drops the BB by 20-30mm, and maybe even pushes it back 10mm (to effectively shorten the...
Wow, that is light, thanks!
I think my heavier components won't weigh more than 3.5kg extra, that is still pretty light for a full suspension fat ebike. :)
I can't comment on how well suited the current IGHs are, for a M620 motor, but I can say that a Pinion MGU pretty much checks all my boxes, and I assume that it could be married to something like a M560, which is not that far off (on paper at least), from an un-tuned M620.
And the Pinion MGU...
I am glad I didn't buy the Kindernay. I would have sunk a lot of money into a presumably dead system.
I hope Bafang has something like the Pinion MGU in the pipeline, I don't need excessive amounts of power, but a MTB- compatible gearbox motor is very high on my list of things I would like to have.
Looking forward to your findings. :)
Is your own M560 as loud as the other engines, that are shown in this thread? I am still wondering, if I should roll the dice on the M560, instead of swapping the M510 to a M560 later.
I hope the grave dig is excused, but this topic fits my question perfectly:
I am looking at a 150mm travel full suspension frame (Dengfu E10), that was designed around (max.) 29x2.6" or 27.5x2.8 tire frame, with a BB drop of 20mm, cranks will be 152mm.
Due to different alterations, among those...
They should have kept the power approximately the same, made the motor a bit smaller and put (a MTB capable) gearbox, or a stepless transmission (like Enviolo) into that that big housing.
They missed a perfect opportunity, to retrofit all these existing M620 frames. Maybe they still will, but...
AFAIK, the only good full sus fat bike frames from China are made out of carbon. All alloy frames I've found are indeed "boats made for getting groceries".
I tried to google, but couldn't find anything concrete.
Is there any evidence so far, that Bafang is working on a gear box motor? The Pinion and Intradrive for example are so small, they might also fit into an existing motor mount for the M5/600 series., obviously the M620 casing could fit...
I mentioned it before. I am sure it is a great bike, and I would certainly consider it, if it was attainable/affordable for me. One thing to consider, alloy frames feel colder than carbon in the winter.
@Rickster, I added some more stuff to long post, as a summary of my findings, for you and...
