I love my new Levo SL 2. I’m two rides in, and so far it’s clear the rear suspension is much more capable than it previously was. I’ve got a 170mm Fox 38mm fork and it feels really nice. A very capable enduro bike. The motor is noticeably more powerful than the 1.1 motor - as is the battery...
I can tell the difference. I’m 95kg and ride steep, rocky DH style trails. The difference in stiffness is obvious and the extra travel is worth the geo change.
I’m building up a Gen 2 Levo SL from a frameset. I have all the parts, but only have 180mm forks, which I’m hesitant to use. I’m wondering if anyone has over-forked their Levo SL to 180 or 170 and how it went? If so, what configuration of wheel size/flip chips worked best?
Here’s my bike with the new Rockshox SDU coil and the old Boxxers. Finally got them dialled in at rides incredibly! Very versatile, the only bike I’m riding lately.
How are you finding the suspension @Rob Rides EMTB ? Not sure why, but I couldn’t get my Vivid feeling much good. Gone to a SDU coil to see how that goes. My Boxxers (previous gen) are feeling really good. Had to stuff it full of volume reducers, but feels great now.
Keen to know how the '24 Boxxer goes! I had a 2021 Boxxer just sitting around so I thought I my as well see what it's like. If I like it, I'll upgrade to the latest version.
Nope, I was worried about this but it fits well with plenty to spare - see the clip. I am on full 29 however, not sure if this would make a difference, though it shouldn’t.
