    I would take it apart - it’s super easy.. and check that all 3 magnets are there.. if a magnet is missing that could be an issue.. then, unlike the newer ones they have removable SD50 cables.. so that could be easily replaced...bit at £23 or so thats a couple of ? so you wouldn’t want to do...

    Ahh, so the battery makes the low voltage and not the motor itself - I would have just taken the battery voltage to the Motor and have its electronics sort out the required low voltage (less copper - less weight - less complexity (sortof) ) but thanks for the info!

    hmm converted that's £1500 display and switch will be around £300, motor I'm guestimating around £1000 and then the rest of the cables etc.. I guess would bring you to around £1500...
