Think I was lucky with mine, the local dealer has changed the cable, TCU and the diagnosed it to be the battery. Think it helped as they have other bikes that they switch the parts off to determine what's wrong with it. The new battery seems to have fixed my issue as well
I think I've narrowed the van choice down to the Peugeot expert LWB, transit custom swb or vauxhall vivario swb, based on my budget and getting two bikes in there. VW is out of my price range.
I want to get myself a day van or camper to travel to bike locations in the UK and France. This would also be useful to commute to work and weekend driving.
Which options are the best for this? I've been looking at LWB VW caddy etc or larger vans like the ford transit. Any pictures of...
So my levo finally went in to have the TCU cable replaced yesterday. That didn't solve the problem or replacing the TCU itself. They then replaced the battery thinking it maybe the controller in the unit as it's not waking up. It's worked so far and they will let me know tomorrow if it wakes...
This is the cable I'm referring to, I do find that water gets into the downtime from somewhere, maybe from the cable holes. The guy in the shop said it's a good idea to open this up every so often to let air get it and dry it out. One of the electrical connectors is slightly discoloured, I've...
That's good to know, it's booked in for the cable replacement but they can't do it until the 24th of April. So will have to keep unplugging it until then.
My levo is currently having a replacement power cable fitted. My initial issue was the bike not turning on after it had been left off for a few hours. I could get around this by unplugging the battery and then plugging it back in. My bike shop diagnosed a power cable issue but specialized...
Agreed the most important thing to protect is the motor, and the stock protection isn't enough if your riding terrain where it may get frequently bashed.
I think the other holes are just drainage holes. Id be interested to know how it performa as this is the one I've been thinking of ordering but in anodised black .
Great thanks, this is the one I have been looking at, they have two versions the other has more holes at the top. I think it's held onto the bike by one longer bolt.
