    Shimano 504wh battery life

I rode some flatter areas and had substantially more range. I guess our local 30° (60% grade) inclines really wreck Havoc on the range.

    Shimano 504wh battery life

I think it’s the constant elevation gain that was draining mine so fast. I’m in Utah right now and I can easily get 20+ miles whereas back home I’ll see max of 12.

    Light back protector VS backpack

USWE patriot backpack has back protector built in. Water pack helps provide cushion as well.

    Shimano 504wh battery life

This battery has 14 cycles, at 88%. Today I climbed 2400’, 9.1 miles, and used 70% battery. Meaning the range would be good for about 12 miles and 3500’ of climbing. All in trail mode which is limited to 190% boost and 70 (85 max) nm of torque. It’s not great but for my local riding it’s fine. I...

    Shimano 504wh battery life

What sort of battery life are you getting out of your 500 watt shimano battery? Stun locker says there is significant degradation (70-80% remaining capacity) yet I’ve only put on 400 miles over two batteries that I alternate. I generally only charge battery the day or or sometimes the day before...

    Any under 25s here?

I’m in low 30’s and that’s why they call me Baby Michael everywhere I frequent.

How did you pick your eMTB?

Similar experience with Kenevo. It seemed underwhelming. My only gripe is a 504wh battery but generally, my short rides I don’t even burn though that. I generally get 3-4K if climbing and 13-17 miles per battery.

How did you pick your eMTB?

I chose the Tazer MX Pro (2021) because it was such a great value. Dual crown Ohlins suspension, mullet set up, latest shimano EP8 motor, top of line Magura MT7 brakes, carbon frame, and it came with a tool kit. It was $9k + tax and I got it shipped to my door for 7,400 OTD. It’s an incredibly...

That new bike smell is INTENSE...

Thanks for sharing. That seems to be the consensus. I’ll be looking for a set at the end of the year. (Christmas? 😂)

How do the carbon compare to the aluminum? I need new grips soon and will look at the PNW stuff.

I run OE Maxxis DHR II in the same size.

Review 2021 Intense Tazer MX Pro

I’m at 300 miles on mine. Strong bike. Easy to ride. My battery doesn’t give me nearly the range but my rides include a lot of vert.

I second the feelings about the expert. my mods so far are justadding clipless pedals and a heavier rear spring. Otherwise, out of the box, perfect. Suspension setting recommendations are perfect as well. I mean, it’s just an incredible bike for the price. my batteries might be old but I also...

I’m 6’2 and the L/XL frame fits really well. Maybe I’m missing what you’re trying to say?

That new bike smell is INTENSE...

I still say it is one of the best values on the market. I have the pro and LOVE IT. I only have 200 miles on the bike but I enjoy riding it every day. the only thing I wish it had was a 625 battery but I consistently get 4000’ of climbing and 12-15 miles of range on 80-90% of the battery...
