In my E-TUBE app the default settings show as a white dot on the settings bars. The below picture is profile 1 Eco. The white dots on the far left of assist and torque bars are the default settings.
I’ve been thinking of using the mucky nutz short by itself on the rear, to protect the linkage and charge port. How do you have it facing, long or shorter end forward?
I haven’t changed much. I dropped down to a 35 mm stem and put on the alloy Renthal 35 mm rise bars from my Rail. I was going to upgrade to carbon bars but I’m happy with the ride and weight of the Renthals. I did have to get a shorter dropper. The 170 that came with the XL was too long. I went...
I’ve got an ‘22 H15 with the 540 wh battery. I typically ride 10 to 20 miles but only a few hundred feet of climbing (flat here in lower Alabama). I’ll usually have over 50% charge left. If I got a ‘23 I’d get the 360, possibly with a range extender for trips to the mountains.
That’s exactly the route I went. I like the Rise so much better. The Rise fits me way better than the Rail did and the lower weight and geo make it feel like a normal mountain bike, just with extra power.
I used these last year to install a set of Renthal 31.8 bars I already had on my 35mm stem to get more rise. It was only going to be temporary but really like the way the bars ride so have left them on. I haven’t had any issues. YMMV
I’m sure there’s a lot of that going on. There is no reason e-bikes should not be allowed in pisgah. They cause no more trail damage than acoustic bikes. I have seen horses absolutely destroy trails in GF district. After 9 years in flat lower Alabama. I’d need some assist to ride anything in wnc. 😂
I lived and mtn biked in WNC many years ago (Asheville then Boone). It appears there is almost nowhere up there that allows e-bikes. If I were still there I’d get a trek ex-e or a pivot shuttle SL, something silent with a small inconspicuous motor. When I was there you would rarely run into...
