I have gone through that with the Halfords HRT10 chest strap transmitter but it didn't recognise it. This will be me being useless with technology. Thank you for your help and advice. 🙂

I have returned it to Halfords as I couldn't get it to work, it was their own brand HRT10 and was just a chest band bluetooth transmitter. I'm not bothered about the data being recorded like it is on my old Garmin Edge, I just want to keep an eye on my heart rate.

So, I can't just buy a transmitter, I need to buy a complete unit? I was hoping that I could buy a Bluetooth transmitter that would connect to my phone which is attached to my bike via Quad Lock and be able to read the hr through the Flow app.
