    Family bike Van

No idea. Ours is a 69 plate. Not had any issues but don't do a huge mileage. They definitely do a long wheelbase. Ours is the standard medium which isn't really big enough for what you describe but does seat 5 comfortably (or 6,7 or 8 with the third row seats sections in) with a good amount of...

    Family bike Van

You might want to look at the Peugeot Traveler LWB too. Similar to the above recommendations but classed as a car rather than van so no 60mph speed limit on dual carriageways and lots of extra safety features and creature comforts for the rear passengers (side air bags etc) though no opening...

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL (gen1) Dead/Unresponsive Solution Warning Tip

Were they connected in the sun or open? I think they keep water in better than they keep it out...

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL (gen1) Dead/Unresponsive Solution Warning Tip

Try drying the connectors really thoroughly. I think this is where the problem is. Maybe put some dielectric grease on the plastic part afterwards to reduce chances of recurrence.

eBike up at DyFi instead of uplift?

I'm with you. I would always prefer riding up to being in an uplift and as you say, if this means more money for trail building then that's great too. I do understand the argument for safety and would want it to be a separate trail to ride up on rather than just following the uplift.

    Mahle SL 1.1 to SL 1.2 - What's Possible and What's Different ?

Stock levels probably. If they managed to sell off a load earlier in the year then they may not be as over stocked as I am guessing the UK is...

    Mahle SL 1.1 to SL 1.2 - What's Possible and What's Different ?

What did your local shop do in terms of firmware? Does it now have the normal Levo SL1.2 27.5" (or 29") wheel firmware so the TCU reports correct speed and distance? Or is it just on the higher speed-setting of the kids firmware?

    Mahle SL 1.1 to SL 1.2 - What's Possible and What's Different ?

I think the spindle interface would work, but you would have a left hand pedal thread on the right which wouldn't fit a normal right hand pedal. You can switch the pedal axle for one from a left pedal and it will all work, but the pedal may tend to try to "walk" itself out of the threads as you...

What did you do to your EBike this week?

Nice. I've been mulling doing this but didn't have a suitable fork to keep the geometry reasonable. Be very interested to hear how it rides. Be curious if the extra travel is actually more beneficial than the bigger wheel.

What did you do to your EBike this week?

Finally sorted my cracked motor cover. On my second one of these and Specialized decided to up the price to £40 (despite them being $26 in the US) which seemed crazy for a part that really doesn't last long. So took my old one and drilled a bunch of holes in it and sanded to get a key:- Then...

Other Not mtb, but will Spesh upgrade the Vado SL to 1.2 ?

Almost certainly. They will want to get the volume on the new motor. BUT, they may have a lot of 1.1 motors or complete Vado Sls that they need to shift first, and when they do switch you can bet the price will go up a lot. Maybe push hard for a really good deal (like less than half RRP)on the...

Levo SL Gen 1 Cost effective upgrade for new SL 1.2 motor?

yes. As mentioned already above. But I think Crazyknowledge was talking about the resultant kids bike with a 1.1 motor in it. The 1.1 motor moved from a 29" wheel to a 24" will cut out at 83% of the expected speed. So for a 16mph tail off on the 29" it will become 13.3mph. (for us UK/EU people)...

Levo SL Gen 1 Cost effective upgrade for new SL 1.2 motor?

Very little, but that's largely because the ksl changed so little. For the levo the geometry changes make it much more worthwhile. But then if only the motor has changed then why buy the new bike anyway? Better to sell you a new motor for $1000 (probably with a very healthy margin) than have...

Levo SL Gen 1 Cost effective upgrade for new SL 1.2 motor?

I would love for this to be true, but specialized have always had this very strange approach to spares. Tried to buy new axles for their Boomslang pedals in the past and they wouldn't sell them, only warranty. It's a wear part, it should be for sale. The steerer SWAT tool is really good but...

Levo SL Gen 1 Is my battery about to die?

Charged my Levo SL gen 1 (18 months old) to 80% on Wednesday night. Went riding on Friday and about 10 minutes in looked down at the Garmin and was shocked to find it was at 64%. Looking back at the Garmin graph of charge it started at 74% (so I lost 6% before I even rode it). It then continued...
