That's the whole point of the Rise though - it rides like a natural bike, you get more power out when you put more power in (and thats at higher cadence). The new Bosch lite motor too.
If you want something that gives you loads of power at low rpm get a full fat Bosch and you can mash the...
No, because by my reading the increased power is linked to the new battery architecture (rather than the motor). Only the main battery has that so the full power isn't available when the hop up is attached.
Oh, and no issues here connecting my Garmin 530. I do t use the Orbea app - just the included Steps but mostly just a battery and mode fields on my own screen layout.
Jessie at Pinkbike got 40km and nearly 1300m climbing out of the small battery in the R/S+ profile in boost the whole time. That’s really good in my book - I’m 80 kg but that’s basically what I get from the rise mk1 360 in eco.
They put the 34 out there because it gives them a bike with a low...
6' 5"/195cm - XL a really good fit for me.
I've had a longer reach bike before and prefer the Rise. I wear trousers with a 35" inside leg if you're looking to get a feel for upper to lower body size
new model is slightly longer so closer to your S5 I think
Lots to like. More travel. Supposedly stiffer (and should be with the mainframe brace - always puzzled the original didn't have that. Bigger battery and effectively full power. Will be interesting to see what sort of range it gets at different power settings.
how did you manage to get the new one under warranty (and also have undamaged levers?). Will see if it holds up tomorrow. I put quite a lot of Loctite on so getting it off again might be interesting.
the fitting guide for the new linkage is here -

The parts you need tot up to 300Euros....
Thanks. I've got it all apart and cleaned. With a new axle I think theres still a little movement on the linkage.
And of course it's a superseded part - the new 23 linkage needs a whole load of other parts as well which add up to 300 Euros. And of course, as always with Orbea, there are a...
Answering my own question. Drive side upper pivot (ie the splined axle on the pivot) was loose - bolt was tight and it was only when I'd removed the rear stays that I could detect it. When I undid the shock mount lever the right arm fell off the axle. Luckily I have a spare in stock (ordered...
Headset routing
JFC. How many years are we going to have to suffer this? It's such a bad idea. Internal routing is an almighty pain, and now you make it more problematic.

I've not been riding a huge amount as the weather has been bad here - and I'd been blaming the wandering back end on slippery trails and poor skills. But comparing my bike to others and had a...
I take it back - Orbea have sorted out their spares service. Ordered last Sunday, arrived with me in the UK today (Thursday) so I could get the bike ready to ride for the weekend (though the weather is looking glum)
probably helps to order only small parts that can go in a cardboard envelope...
Still interesting that they warrantied it after 2 years (given it's a listed spare part for sale). Mine is coming up to 3 years old so didn't even think about trying that (although if it had damaged the frame I''d probably be feeling very differently about it)
I just wish they'd get their act...
Ah - so why was yours warranty (how old was the bike?)
and why did you need a new chain stay? I've only taken the threaded bit out (from the non-drive side) so far. was assuming (well praying) that nothing else would need replacing
